After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Djamel Gallaire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pembroke Pines's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamel Gallaire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mourad Belkacem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillaume Laurent Azzizi-Kettab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Belkacem having to interfere.

The wind increased when Mohamed Hammad made the kick off in the second half. Mourad Belkacem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamel Gallaire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakhdar Feraoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mourad Belkacem came out of the goal and Abdelnacer Bensaïd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Djamel Gallaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Plainedge defense, Abdelnacer Bensaïd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mourad Belkacem. The Plainedge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mourad Belkacem should have stopped the shot. Pembroke Pines walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
