Spectators: 7306 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lounès Abdessalam started the match with the kick off. Hocine Mesbah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Dahleb in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Fergani Diss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragons F-C's Lounès Abdessalam got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhamid Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lounès Abdessalam in the 17th minute of play forced Crystal City's goalkeeper Farès Assad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lounès Abdessalam struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Farès Assad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragons F-C. 21 minutes into the match, Lounès Abdessalam dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Farès Assad, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Crystal City's zone, Lounès Abdessalam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farès Assad came out of the goal and Lounès Abdessalam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abdelhamid Dahleb came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Crystal City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Dahleb couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Crystal City's zone, Lounès Abdessalam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farès Assad came out of the goal and Lounès Abdessalam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragons F-C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nabil Merbah was slow to take the kick. During this time Crystal City's players had a chance to rest. Nabil Merbah made a great header on Crystal City's corner, it was just that Dragons F-C's Hocine Mesbah managed to reach the ball for a save. When Lounès Abdessalam came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dragons F-C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lounès Abdessalam couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Crystal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Ben Khalidi to maneuver through the defense. Crystal City's Farès Assad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lounès Abdessalam in the 44th minute of play. Amrani Larfaoui hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Crystal City were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Dragons F-C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nabil Merbah took the corner. Crystal City's Nabil Merbah was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hocine Mesbah in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelhamid Dahleb made a kick off. When Abdelhamid Dahleb came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Crystal City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Dahleb couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lounès Abdessalam in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farès Assad saved Crystal City from getting behind. If Lounès Abdessalam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farès Assad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lounès Abdessalam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Dahleb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Crystal City's Hocine Mesbah threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdelhamid Dahleb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 75 minutes, Amrani Larfaoui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons F-C and the Crystal City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Dragons F-C got a freekick which was hit by Amrani Larfaoui. Abdelhamid Dahleb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hocine Mesbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Hakim Megharia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdelhamid Dahleb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dragons F-C defense, Cheb Dahleb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hocine Mesbah. The Dragons F-C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hocine Mesbah should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Houari Bahari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Crystal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Ben Khalidi to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Lounès Abdessalam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farès Assad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
