To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tayeb Kouri hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Zaoui in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alain Horr saved BARCA-A from getting behind. After 19 minutes of play, St. Bernard's Cheb Zaoui made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alain Horr was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, St. Bernard's Tedj Zidane got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Tayeb Kouri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rachid Zidān skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cheb Zaoui to make the kick off. Khair ad-Din Khabatou struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Alain Horr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Bernard. Rachid Zidān showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mebarek Zaaboub in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Bernardo Mikolas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St. Bernard and the BARCA-A players grew even worse after the yellow card. Salim Sakhris short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Rachid Zidān to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of BARCA-A booed when St. Bernard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Timiney didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Zaoui in the 64th minute of play forced BARCA-A's goalkeeper Alain Horr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khair ad-Din Khabatou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alain Horr having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khair ad-Din Khabatou in the 89th minute of play forced BARCA-A's goalkeeper Alain Horr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Khair ad-Din Khabatou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
