Reda Belhadj was slow to take the kick. During this time Melonsinho's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Melonsinho's corner Reda Belhadj fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Said Toumi quite easily take care of the ball. Quintino Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Ahmed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Melonsinho getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zé Paulo Saldanha hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz Youngblood in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Said Toumi saved Enrique FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute, one of Melonsinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melonsinho. In the 29th minute, Melonsinho's Abdulhamid Bridji dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Enrique FC's Said Toumi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Enrique FC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Kasdi Apap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliusz Youngblood was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mohamed Ahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Muhammad Amara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enrique FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melonsinho the free kick. Said Toumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Youngblood's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulhamid Bridji in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Said Toumi saved Enrique FC from getting behind. Moulay Brahami struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Quintino Palma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enrique FC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Melonsinho fully deserved thier win.
