Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jean-Baptiste Ouyahia kicked off to start the match. Bellemou Bouteflika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouabdellah Boniche having to interfere. Mohamed Ben Mimoun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rachid Cherrad came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohamed Ben Mimoun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Progress's Sid Bencherif got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Progress's Rachid Cherrad got control of the ball when Larbi Saïd-Guerni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rachid Cherrad came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by GOLOLA FC's Larbi Saïd-Guerni. But to his dismay, Larbi Saïd-Guerni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rachid Cherrad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Ben Mimoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rachid Cherrad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ben Mimoun in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Progress's goal looked a bit too open when Abd el Matmour came free, but Rachid Cherrad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GOLOLA FC booed when Progress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Ahmed Hamouda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larbi Saïd-Guerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rachid Cherrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Piaf kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Madjid Diss shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rachid Cherrad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Abdelhamid Hadjar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamid Azzizi-Kettab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Progress got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Bensaoula. If Mohamed Ben Mimoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Cherrad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohamed Ben Mimoun went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 75 minutes of play, GOLOLA FC's Larbi Saïd-Guerni made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rachid Cherrad was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Larbi Saïd-Guerni in the 83rd minute of play forced Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Abd el Matmour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Cherrad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid Cherrad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd el Matmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larbi Saïd-Guerni in the 95th minute of play forced Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GOLOLA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
