In the 15th minute, Tedj Louahla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Progress's Rachid Cherrad didn't even have to move. 17 minutes into the game, AYSTRONCLUB.COM's Tedj Louahla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rachid Cherrad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rachid Cherrad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lounès Dahleb in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee ignored Progress's protests and gave Mohamed Ben Saïd-Guerni a yellow card for diving instead. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Welly Lubis made a kick off. Sid Bencherif hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rachid Cherrad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Raï, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 86th play minute Welly Lubis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rachid Cherrad. 0-5. 89 minutes into the match, Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lounès Dahleb. After a defensive mix-up in Progress's zone, Víktor Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Cherrad came out of the goal and Víktor Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Lounès Dahleb notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Progress's Rachid Cherrad. Rachid Cherrad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Progress fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AYSTRONCLUB.COM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
