Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 168) River Falls FC's Abdelmalek Bensaïd started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Julio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Julio Cruz sped through River Falls FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillaume Laurent Mansouri. When Julio Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mountain Iron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Cruz couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Julio Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Cruz's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Julio Cruz put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Guillaume Laurent Mansouri. With an all-out effort, River Falls FC's Christian Mager threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdelmalek Bensaïd, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Cruz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mountain Iron. After 28 played minutes Mountain Iron got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad. 36 minutes into the match, River Falls FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Cruz came free, but Guillaume Laurent Mansouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillaume Laurent Mansouri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Cruz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Cruz in the 43rd minute of play. The River Falls FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mountain Iron were winning 0-3.

Guillaume Laurent Mansouri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Julio Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillaume Laurent Mansouri. River Falls FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Julio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Julio Cruz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guillaume Laurent Mansouri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nassim Aribi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mager having to interfere. A collision led to Mountain Iron getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Wágner Eger hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Abdelmalek Bensaïd managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Falls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek Bensaïd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Mager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalek Bensaïd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmalek Bensaïd in the 96th minute of play forced Mountain Iron's goalkeeper Christian Mager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mountain Iron played a much better game than River Falls FC and deserved their victory. The River Falls FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
