Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 168) Yazid Mérah-Benida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Yacine Sennaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdel Zarabi was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Yacine Sennaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Zarabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, River Falls FC's Yacine Sennaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdel Zarabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdel Zarabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacine Sennaoui in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Mimoun Ouid Amirouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdel Zarabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacine Sennaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelaziz Boniche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Guillaume Laurent Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yacine Sennaoui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Post KFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Madjer to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes of play, River Falls FC's Mamaar Bouzid made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Zarabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Post KFC's Abdel Zarabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yacine Sennaoui in the 59th minute of play. If Mamaar Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, River Falls FC's Yacine Sennaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdel Zarabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Hamid Mammeri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Falls FC and the Post KFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. River Falls FC's Yacine Sennaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yacine Sennaoui's late challenge caught a Post KFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yacine Sennaoui helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes River Falls FC got a freekick which was hit by Yacine Sennaoui. In the 75th minute Mamaar Bouzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Zarabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Yacine Sennaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Falls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yacine Sennaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Zarabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, River Falls FC's Mamaar Bouzid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdel Zarabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Rabah Yahi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Post KFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Falls FC the free kick. Yacine Sennaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abdel Zarabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yacine Sennaoui in the 90th minute of play forced Post KFC's goalkeeper Abdel Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yacine Sennaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Falls FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
