Samir Zouba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Zéroual in the 9th minute of the match. Mohamed Zéroual charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Zéroual the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samir Zouba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Zéroual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Nasro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hameur Chadl in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, pistolvania's Ahmed Ghozali got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mustapha Daham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ahmed El-Hadi fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papillion AFC's protests and gave Ahmed El-Hadi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Papillion AFC's Ahmed El-Hadi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Samir Zouba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Amri in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rachid Amri notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Papillion AFC's Samir Zouba. Samir Zouba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Papillion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Amri came free, but Samir Zouba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes, Ahmed Ghozali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the pistolvania and the Papillion AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Ahmed Ghozali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kassel Mecherara made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alain Cixous however managed to control. Mustapha Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Nasro having to interfere. In the 46th minute Hameur Chadl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Nasro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half pistolvania were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Samir Zouba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute Hameur Chadl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Nasro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Ahmed Ghozali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Zouba. Papillion AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmed Ghozali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Papillion AFC's Samir Zouba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Amri in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Mustapha Daham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Papillion AFC's goalkeeper Samir Zouba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Zéroual. After some careless play in the Papillion AFC defense, Alain Cixous kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samir Zouba. The Papillion AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samir Zouba should have stopped the shot. Samir Zouba didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Mohamed Zéroual hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Cixous got free with Samir Zouba in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
