Merrionette's Cheb Meniri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Dankowski in the 35th minute of play. Tolek Dankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tolek Dankowski scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cheb Meniri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Merrionette's Cheb Meniri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Merrionette from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Merrionette's Cheb Meniri got control of the ball when Tolek Dankowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Merrionette's goalkeeper Cheb Meniri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolek Dankowski. In the 84th play minute Tolek Dankowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cheb Meniri. 0-11. After a rather tough play, Merrionette's Tedj Kouri got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cheb Meniri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Macias in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Wara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Merrionette throughout the match.
