The corner led Poplar Bluff AFC's Ricardo Estavan to fire away a dangerous shot which Chaba Messaoudi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Poplar Bluff AFC's Medjadi Lacen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassim Hamrouche in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of F.C. 1670 Nassau booed when Poplar Bluff AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abderrachid Achiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Şerif Durusan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poplar Bluff AFC's Medjadi Lacen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 minutes of play, F.C. 1670 Nassau's Şerif Durusan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Medjadi Lacen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 minutes Poplar Bluff AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mohammed Zemmamouche who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Şerif Durusan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Medjadi Lacen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Şerif Durusan put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Medjadi Lacen.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdel Hamid Chaouchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Medjadi Lacen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammed Zemmamouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şerif Durusan ran back to his position shaking his head. Medjadi Lacen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Durusan in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, F.C. 1670 Nassau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kader Cixous to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes F.C. 1670 Nassau got a freekick which was hit by Kader Cixous. 64 minutes into the game, Ricardo Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poplar Bluff AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. 1670 Nassau the free kick. The F.C. 1670 Nassau fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poplar Bluff AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
