The West St. Paul AFC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when West St. Paul AFC's Khalida Bruel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Khalida Bruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West St. Paul AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khalida Bruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyprian Jeziorkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalida Bruel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of West St. Paul AFC booed when Hopkinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthar Aribi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Hopkinton's goal looked a bit too open when Chadli Belmadi came free, but Cyprian Jeziorkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West St. Paul AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Khalida Belkhadem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Jeziorkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Khalida Bruel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyprian Jeziorkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantin Kochkarov made a kick off. In the 51st minute, West St. Paul AFC's Konstantin Kochkarov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cyprian Jeziorkowski. In the 55th minute Konstantin Kochkarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Jeziorkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalida Bruel in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cyprian Jeziorkowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Feraoun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Cyprian Jeziorkowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Konstantin Kochkarov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cyprian Jeziorkowski. The goal made the score 0-11. 93 minutes into the match, Ismael Feraoun notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Hopkinton's Cyprian Jeziorkowski. Cyprian Jeziorkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
