Premier FC's Alva Spangler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galen Plourde in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Alain Laux notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tehkummah AFC's Ermenegilde Cote. Ermenegilde Cote was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Schumacher to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Premier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Royer to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Schumacher came free, but Alva Spangler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rocky Daniels fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tehkummah AFC's protests and gave Rocky Daniels a yellow card for diving instead.
