Wallace McLain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stirling. Gregg Snell hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Raymon Paige sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wallace McLain skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Stratford's zone, Edmundo Chaussée stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wallace McLain came out of the goal and Edmundo Chaussée tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stirling's Demetrius Burke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Stirling from getting a goal against them. Kraig Rossignol took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrius Burke. Demetrius Burke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Edmundo Chaussée had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stirling's Edmundo Chaussée, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Stirling. Vern Dickson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Darrel Warner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Wallace McLain as he didn't even see the shot coming. 91 minutes into the match, Edmundo Chaussée notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AFC Stratford's Wallace McLain. Wallace McLain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmundo Chaussée blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wallace McLain having to make a save. Stirling played a much better game than AFC Stratford and deserved their victory. The AFC Stratford players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
