Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Dennis Winston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Benedict McCabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfred Hargrove charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfred Hargrove the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Varennes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Hargrove. After 9 minutes, Dennis Winston made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Varennes AFC's Robert Hatch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Logan Lespérance had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Griffith. Maymont's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Logan Lespérance was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Winston in the 17th minute of play forced Varennes AFC's goalkeeper Robert Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Varennes AFC's Kasey Espinoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Griffith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Duane Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maymont's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Kasey Espinoza scored to the left of an out of position Malcolm Griffith, making the score, 2-1. Robert Hatch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedict McCabe in the 35th minute of play. If Benedict McCabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kasey Espinoza made the kick off in the second half. Varennes AFC's Robert Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Winston in the 52nd minute of play. Benedict McCabe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Robert Hatch made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Fidel Desilets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maymont the free kick. Fidel Desilets kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Dennis Winston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maymont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Winston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colin Kilgore hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Maymont got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Peacock. When Varennes AFC's Logan Lespérance in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maymont's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Colin Kilgore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maymont the free kick. 77 minutes into the match, Logan Lespérance notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Maymont's Malcolm Griffith. Malcolm Griffith was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Logan Lespérance in the 84th minute of play forced Maymont's goalkeeper Malcolm Griffith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Espinoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Cesar Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Monte Goss during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Maymont got a freekick which was hit by Monte Goss. Logan Lespérance fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Griffith having to interfere. Maymont's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Varennes AFC had won, even though Maymont had held more of the ball.
