Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the game, Merrill Hills recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aimé Parrot. Merrill Hills showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Greg Chapman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Espinoza having to interfere. Dorian Grady's late challenge caught a Rigolet AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorian Grady helped the player get up and apologised. Dorian Grady hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Greg Chapman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Espinoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Rigolet AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Hills came free, but Aimé Parrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Grady hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Nestor Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Chapman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Nestor Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Chapman in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Greg Chapman made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greg Chapman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Espinoza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Beaverlodge AFC defense, Marcos Nadeau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Espinoza. The Beaverlodge AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Espinoza should have stopped the shot. Greg Chapman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Marcos Nadeau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Nestor Espinoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes Rigolet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Sosa. Aimé Parrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Hills in the 80th minute of the match. When Marcos Nadeau came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rigolet AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Nadeau couldn't finish the play. Rigolet AFC's Greg Chapman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roosevelt Poulin struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Aimé Parrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaverlodge AFC. After a rather tough play, Rigolet AFC's Brock Schumacher got a free kick in the 90th minute. Beaverlodge AFC's Mikel Conley couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rigolet AFC. Roosevelt Poulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aimé Parrot having to interfere. Aimé Parrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Hills in the 95th minute of play. Greg Chapman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nestor Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
