Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jules Stringer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rocky Flaherty was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lazare Gardner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Rocky Flaherty made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Isidro Fitzgerald sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Aurèle Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurèle Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloi McPherson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Isidro Fitzgerald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rocky Flaherty. Scona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Fitzgerald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lazare Gardner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rocky Flaherty came out and tried to block the shot, but Lazare Gardner slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. Valentine Montano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eloi McPherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otha Navarro took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloi McPherson. Eloi McPherson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Stringer in the 25th minute of play forced Scona FC's goalkeeper Rocky Flaherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colonsay's Eloi McPherson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentine Montano in the 28th minute of play. Valentine Montano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eloi McPherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Scona FC's Valentine Montano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloi McPherson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Colonsay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazare Gardner to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jules Stringer in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rocky Flaherty saved Scona FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allen Shannon got free with Rocky Flaherty in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Fitzgerald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rocky Flaherty made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurèle Driver to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Scona FC defense, Allen Shannon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rocky Flaherty. The Scona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rocky Flaherty should have stopped the shot. Doyle Faucher hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rocky Flaherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Fitzgerald in the 69th minute of the match. The Colonsay fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Colonsay's Jules Stringer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Doyle Faucher fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colonsay's protests and gave Doyle Faucher a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Colonsay getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Doyle Faucher hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Jules Stringer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colonsay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. In the 83rd minute, Lazare Gardner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rocky Flaherty was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Beaulieu during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Scona FC got a freekick which was hit by Edward Beaulieu. Rocky Flaherty came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Colonsay's Jules Stringer. But to his dismay, Jules Stringer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. Colonsay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
