Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murray Lajoie took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Royal Shearer got free with Elias Sellers in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Murray Lajoie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The goalkeeper, Elias Sellers, was totally fooled by Bitumount AFC's Mathew Escobedo, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Theo Herring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Richelieu FC booed when Bitumount AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Mailhot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richelieu FC's Tony Leal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bitumount AFC. Jerrold Quinones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalton Calhoun hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bitumount AFC defense, Jerrold Quinones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Chouinard. The Bitumount AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Chouinard should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Thaddeus Gaudreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Herring made a kick off. Jerrold Quinones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Bitumount AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Herring came free, but Hong Chouinard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bitumount AFC's Royal Shearer got a free kick in the 60th minute. Bitumount AFC's Hong Chouinard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bitumount AFC from getting a goal against them. Theo Herring struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Hong Chouinard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richelieu FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignace Wolfe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hong Chouinard. That made the score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. If Royal Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bitumount AFC's Hong Chouinard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Bitumount AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute of the match, Theo Herring tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hong Chouinard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Royal Shearer made a precise shot to the right of Elias Sellers. Richelieu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The supporters of Richelieu FC booed when Bitumount AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddeus Gaudreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royal Shearer in the 94th minute of play forced Richelieu FC's goalkeeper Elias Sellers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Richelieu FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
