Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Broadlands AFC's Hershel Toth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes, Rosetown FC's Cliff Lentz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosetown FC reached it. In the 8th minute, Randolph Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Roderick Cousteau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Delmar Rock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Rock in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaun Rhodes saved Broadlands AFC from getting behind. Shaun Rhodes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Rock's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Rosetown FC got a freekick which was hit by Terrence Schumacher. Rosetown FC's Harry Deserres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waylon Duranseau in the 29th minute of play. Broadlands AFC's Eustache Loomis got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Broadlands AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Daron Ambrose hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Delmar Rock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hershel Toth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Deserres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Delmar Rock struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Shaun Rhodes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosetown FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Rock to make the kick off. Roderick Cousteau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Delmar Rock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosetown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Rock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaun Rhodes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Rock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Rhodes having to interfere. Delmar Rock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustache Loomis in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Deserres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 played minutes Broadlands AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Mohr. 64 minutes into the game, Delmar Rock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Shaun Rhodes. Delmar Rock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Terrence Schumacher kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Hershel Toth notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rosetown FC's Harry Deserres. Harry Deserres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Delmar Rock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustache Loomis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hershel Toth in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Broadlands AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Rhodes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Broadlands AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Tim Blank shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Broadlands AFC's Shaun Rhodes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Rock in the 94th minute of play.
