Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Broadlands AFC's Hershel Toth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes, Broadlands AFC's Elvis Herndon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johnie Frank came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broadlands AFC reached it. Otha Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Shaun Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaun Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otha Peterson in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Harrowby booed when Broadlands AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randolph Howard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustache Loomis scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnie Frank, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Willis Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 34 minutes Harrowby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waylon Duranseau who took care of the corner kick. If Otha Peterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Broadlands AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aldo Fitch hit a great ball. Hipolito Bowers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Shaun Rhodes made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otha Peterson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Otha Peterson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnie Frank made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustache Loomis in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Hershel Toth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnie Frank was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Johnie Frank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hershel Toth in the 63rd minute of play. Eustache Loomis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Frank having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Otha Peterson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustache Loomis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Johnie Frank made a huge save. After 74 minutes, Britt Hobson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harrowby and the Broadlands AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Harrowby got a freekick which was hit by Britt Hobson. Harrowby's Johnie Frank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hershel Toth in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Hipolito Bowers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harrowby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Bowers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shaun Rhodes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Harrowby's Otha Peterson. But to his dismay, Otha Peterson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Broadlands AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Alejandro Bernard shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 88 minutes into the match, Broadlands AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Otha Peterson came free, but Shaun Rhodes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otha Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Shaun Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Broadlands AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
