Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edgardo Thomson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Thomson in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miquel Schmitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jewell Jenkins hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Norberto Dunbar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miquel Schmitt having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Norberto Dunbar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miquel Schmitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roch Henrichon charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roch Henrichon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Crozier got a freekick which was hit by Roch Henrichon. If Norberto Dunbar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Dunbar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Thomson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miquel Schmitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Roch Henrichon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Dunbar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miquel Schmitt having to interfere. Norberto Dunbar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miquel Schmitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Crozier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Déziel to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Crozier's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Dunbar came free, but Miquel Schmitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miquel Schmitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Dunbar in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Edgardo Thomson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newboro AFC and the Crozier players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Newboro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Thomson. After the first half Newboro AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roch Henrichon to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play Newboro AFC's Edgardo Thomson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Newboro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Thomson to maneuver through the defense. Arnaud Chadwick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miquel Schmitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustine Desroches during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Crozier got a freekick which was hit by Augustine Desroches. After a defensive mix-up in Crozier's zone, Arnaud Chadwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miquel Schmitt came out of the goal and Arnaud Chadwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Newboro AFC's zone, Roch Henrichon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Preston Chavez came out of the goal and Roch Henrichon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Stan Bennett notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Newboro AFC's Preston Chavez. Preston Chavez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Déziel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Preston Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Stan Bennett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Augustine Desroches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crozier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustine Desroches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Preston Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Henrichon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Norberto Dunbar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miquel Schmitt having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
