Marius Rosales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blaine Holmes having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Adam Medley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedalia's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Medley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Hanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ollie Hanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Lincoln, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Rodrigo Lincoln had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Centreville FC's Ollie Hanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Centreville FC from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Lincoln fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Hanson having to interfere. Sedalia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
