Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Codette FC's Horacio Winston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bradly Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tyree Dionne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Potts's late challenge caught a Codette FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Potts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Arnulfo Potts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leigh Bérubé could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tyree Dionne made a huge save. Kendall Babin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Codette FC booed when Fitzgerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Powell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leigh Bérubé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th match minute, Codette FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dane Bernard to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fitzgerald's Leigh Bérubé got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Fitzgerald's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Nesbitt came free, but Kenton Bouchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenton Bouchard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Winston in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bradly Powell made the kick off in the second half. Tyree Dionne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradly Powell went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Codette FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatien Estrada to maneuver through the defense. If Bradly Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyree Dionne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leigh Bérubé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Codette FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradly Powell came free, but Tyree Dionne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Leigh Bérubé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyree Dionne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leigh Bérubé's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyree Dionne was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Kenton Bouchard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Winston in the 73rd minute of play. Armel Gervais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Felipe Finn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fitzgerald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codette FC the free kick. Felipe Finn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fitzgerald's zone, Horacio Winston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenton Bouchard came out of the goal and Horacio Winston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emmanuel Nesbitt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Kenton Bouchard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Codette FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
