Earnest Crews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Horne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Celal Dündaroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NDG United's protests and gave Celal Dündaroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Celal Dündaroğlu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Vicente Wilhelm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lefroy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDG United the free kick. In the 10th minute, Vicente Wilhelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, one of NDG United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NDG United. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Lefroy. Jimmie Marion stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Earnest Crews. 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Matthieu Horne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lefroy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthieu Horne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Earnest Crews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Horne, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Urbain Gallardo was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Larry Aupry capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Larry Aupry really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Godelieve Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbain Gallardo having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Celal Dündaroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lefroy's Urbain Gallardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Lefroy's goal looked a bit too open when Celal Dündaroğlu came free, but Urbain Gallardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Celal Dündaroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbain Gallardo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Matthieu Horne struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Earnest Crews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lefroy. After 75 minutes, Johnathan Lincoln mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lefroy and the NDG United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celal Dündaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Celal Dündaroğlu sped through Lefroy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urbain Gallardo. 94 minutes into the match, Vicente Wilhelm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Earnest Crews, 3-2. When Larry Aupry came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the NDG United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Aupry couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NDG United fully deserved thier win.
