Aurelien Langelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celal Dündaroğlu in the 16th minute of the match. Emile McWilliams struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Earnest Crews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ioco. After 28 played minutes NDG United got a freekick which was hit by Celal Dündaroğlu. After 29 played minutes NDG United got a freekick which was hit by Esmé Mélançon. The supporters of NDG United booed when Ioco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Dugan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Lucien Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ioco and the NDG United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Ioco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Leal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 42nd minute, when NDG United's Esmé Mélançon after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Aurelien Langelier in Ioco's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Aurelien Langelier made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Séverin Thorne sent off a good shot on target. Aurelien Langelier came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by NDG United's Celal Dündaroğlu. But to his dismay, Celal Dündaroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celal Dündaroğlu was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Celal Dündaroğlu sped through Ioco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelien Langelier. A collision led to Ioco getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mitch Ibarra hit a great ball. Aurelien Langelier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celal Dündaroğlu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Aurelien Langelier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celal Dündaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Léandre Boles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ioco and the NDG United players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Carlo Sheridan fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NDG United's protests and gave Carlo Sheridan a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, NDG United's Earnest Crews got control of the ball when Mitch Ibarra tried to sneak it across the goal line.
