If Ollie Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Geiger struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Bertrand Rosario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markland Legends FC. In the 12th match minute, Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Negron to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Markland Legends FC's Alex Geiger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertrand Rosario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Linwood Travis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reuben Odom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes in the game, Alex Geiger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bertrand Rosario having to interfere. Bertrand Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Cross, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jérémie Kane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reuben Odom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Alex Geiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Impact's goalkeeper Bertrand Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Cliff Huynh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Ollie Cross dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertrand Rosario, 2-1. In the 44th minute, Diego Hagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Hagen came free, but Bertrand Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ollie Cross in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertrand Rosario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ollie Cross made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Cross in the 52nd minute of play forced Impact's goalkeeper Bertrand Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alex Geiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Markland Legends FC's Ollie Cross in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Impact's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Cross in the 60th managed to get into a good position. In the 69th minute of the match Bedirhan Pekgozlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bertrand Rosario skillfully saved the ball. When Alex Geiger came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Markland Legends FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Geiger couldn't finish the play. Bertrand Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Huynh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Markland Legends FC's Alex Geiger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertrand Rosario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Bertrand Rosario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ollie Cross's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Jérémie Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jérémie Kane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alex Geiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dewitt Reed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Reuben Odom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Ollie Cross notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Impact's Bertrand Rosario. Bertrand Rosario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 96 played minutes, Markland Legends FC's Refugio Witt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertrand Rosario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Markland Legends FC reached it. Markland Legends FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
