Oren Trépanier's late challenge caught a Griswold's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oren Trépanier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Griswold booed when Dobermans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oren Trépanier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Griswold's Omer Avila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Fish narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Riley Pitts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Dobermans's Isaiah LaCaille broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Dobermans's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Duran came free, but Danny Fish reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Griswold's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lewis Duran in the 43rd minute. A well done corner resulted in Omer Avila drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Dobermans's goalkeeper. Lewis Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Fish having to interfere.

Jed Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Fish having to interfere. Maurice Torrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Pitts, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Omer Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Griswold's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dobermans had won, even though Griswold had held more of the ball.
