In a very dangerous position, a player in Aicy AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Derval FC. Henry Goodrich stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giovanni Sparks. 0-1. Giovanni Sparks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colby Dominguez in the 14th minute of the match. When Derval FC's Colby Dominguez in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aicy AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Charpentier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Sparks having to make a save. Colby Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Giovanni Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Robby Weller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Sparks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colby Dominguez's late challenge caught a Aicy AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colby Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Derval FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. Robin Neal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Heath Yarbrough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Charpentier kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Neal in the 40th minute of play forced Derval FC's goalkeeper Heath Yarbrough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Neal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heath Yarbrough having to interfere. Heath Yarbrough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Neal in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colby Dominguez to make the kick off. Giovanni Sparks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colby Dominguez in the 52nd minute of the match. Giovanni Sparks made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Robby Weller sent off a good shot on target. Colby Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robby Weller was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Derval FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Giovanni Sparks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colby Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Derval FC's Narcisse Gentry got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes, Aicy AFC's Arturo Lind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heath Yarbrough came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aicy AFC reached it. Giovanni Sparks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colby Dominguez's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Orville Staton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aicy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derval FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aicy AFC's Orville Staton got a free kick in the 75th minute. Henry Goodrich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovanni Sparks. Aicy AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robby Weller struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Giovanni Sparks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derval FC. Brant Godfrey scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heath Yarbrough, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robby Weller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Arturo Lind put in a rough tackle. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Derval FC. Henry Goodrich stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giovanni Sparks. 1-2. Orville Staton hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Derval FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Derval FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
