Riley Pitts might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Turcotte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Riley Pitts ran back to his position shaking his head. Riley Pitts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Dobermans booed when Paris Saint-Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugene Munson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Riley Pitts in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugene Munson to make the kick off. Danny Fish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugene Munson in the 54th minute of the match. Mary Lapresse took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Fish. Danny Fish dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.
