The supporters of Whitemouth FC booed when Spondin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erick Felix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erick Felix's late challenge caught a Whitemouth FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erick Felix helped the player get up and apologised. Earle Lake kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Spondin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Travis to maneuver through the defense. Ken Feliciano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Achille Hurt. Abraham Goddu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burl Fontaine having to make a save. Earle Lake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Burl Fontaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Romain Montgomery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitemouth FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Burl Fontaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Goddu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play Spondin's Erick Felix was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Spondin's Erick Felix got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romain Montgomery got free with Ken Feliciano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leigh Bradley was the one to do the kick off. Leigh Bradley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Feliciano having to interfere. If Abraham Goddu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Scruggs charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephen Scruggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the match, Whitemouth FC's goalkeeper Burl Fontaine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Goddu. Burl Fontaine made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Abraham Goddu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Whitemouth FC's Burl Fontaine got control of the ball when Abraham Goddu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romain Montgomery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaine Sykes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Abraham Goddu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. When Romain Montgomery came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Whitemouth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Montgomery couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Spondin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Whitemouth FC.
