FC Lepanto 71's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavin Dutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymundo Belisle in the 60th minute of play forced Baden AFC's goalkeeper Malcom Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcom Esposito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raymundo Belisle in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Baden AFC's Malcom Esposito got control of the ball when Emmanuel Cousteau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noe Wolf was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, FC Lepanto 71's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Engle came free, but Noe Wolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Victor Stratton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malcom Esposito. Victor Stratton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Victor Stratton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcom Esposito was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. FC Lepanto 71's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
