Ross Galloway could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Shannon Posey made a huge save. In the 17th minute Houston Battle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shannon Posey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ross Galloway had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shannon Posey. FK Norman Vikingur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ross Galloway was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Kirkella's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Tucker came free, but Booker Donovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erich Desjardins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Posey having to interfere. Booker Donovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Gamble in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ross Galloway dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shannon Posey, 2-0. Kirkella's Booker Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Gamble in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Howard Tucker made the kick off in the second half. If Erich Desjardins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Tucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Booker Donovan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hipolito Gamble managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Norman Vikingur's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Gamble was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Booker Donovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Booker Donovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Gamble in the 96th minute.
