Spectators: 8035 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Harlan Minton made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Beast FC's Ricardo Christie got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ricardo Christie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Beast FC's Pedro Buckner in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAMBA CUA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Myles Gladu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Lanctot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmy Lanctot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes CAMBA CUA FC got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Stoddard. Dean Jamison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Andres Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Lanctot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CAMBA CUA FC defense, Andres Michael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Lanctot. The CAMBA CUA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Lanctot should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Christie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Lanctot having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Bennie Moquin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, CAMBA CUA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Buckner came free, but Jimmy Lanctot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Buckner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Lanctot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to CAMBA CUA FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dylan Stoddard hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Funk during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavier Funk hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match Elbert Hodges sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Lanctot skillfully saved the ball. Jimmy Lanctot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Wally Starr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Christie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Arpin hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When Andres Michael came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Beast FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Michael couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Christie was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Andres Michael took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jimmy Lanctot to make any attempt to save it. Russel Root showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Funk, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Pedro Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Buckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jimmy Lanctot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russel Root showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harlan Minton in the 72nd minute of the match. If Andres Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CAMBA CUA FC's zone, Ricardo Christie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Lanctot came out of the goal and Ricardo Christie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Funk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Russel Root tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harlan Minton in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russel Root saved Beast FC from getting behind. When Wally Starr came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Beast FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wally Starr couldn't finish the play. After having played for 97 minutes, Ricardo Christie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beast FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Christie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Beast FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CAMBA CUA FC.
