But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewey Labonté couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Los Ñandues's goalkeeper Adan Oconnor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. Los Ñandues getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mack Mireault hit a great ball. Sam Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, C.A. Los Ñandues's Ignace Norwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blair Belcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Los Ñandues reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Church to make the kick off. C.A. Los Ñandues's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignace Norwood in the 53rd minute. C.A. Los Ñandues's Ignace Norwood was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Blair Belcher in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Los Ñandues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Church was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignace Norwood stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blair Belcher. 0-2. In the 67thth minute of the game Guillermo Church who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Souris AFC's Blair Belcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sam Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Souris AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Delgado couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Mack Mireault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A. Los Ñandues's Mckinley Salgado got a free kick in the 84th minute. Valentin Walton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Adan Oconnor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Souris AFC's zone, Guillermo Church stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Belcher came out of the goal and Guillermo Church tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, Souris AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Walton to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Quentin Willard managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Los Ñandues's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Willard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair Belcher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Souris AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A. Los Ñandues's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A. Los Ñandues.
