When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Mack Mireault took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Blair Belcher to make any attempt to save it. Quentin Willards short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Blair Belcher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dewey Labonté might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Oconnor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dewey Labonté ran back to his position shaking his head. Sam Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Adan Oconnor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Walton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Walton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Oconnor having to interfere. If Sam Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Walton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adan Oconnor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Church stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Souris AFC's Blair Belcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Church in the 53rd minute of play. Quentin Willard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Blair Belcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Church sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Souris AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Willard came free, but Blair Belcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to C.A. Los Ñandues getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rodolfo Callahan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Church in the 71st minute of play forced Souris AFC's goalkeeper Blair Belcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blair Belcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Willard in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of C.A. Los Ñandues booed when Souris AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Walton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Guillermo Church shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Belcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Oconnor made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Sam Delgado sent off a good shot on target. Adan Oconnor came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Souris AFC's Sam Delgado. But to his dismay, Sam Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 86th minute, Guillermo Church got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quentin Willard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blair Belcher having to make a save. C.A. Los Ñandues were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Souris AFC for a fine match.
