Raymundo Pate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Erickson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herb Beverly in the 6th minute of the match. Hong Sexton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bruno Metz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Patrick Baggett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dion Whittaker hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Al Beaver kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Savanne's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Whittaker came free, but Mark Erickson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Erickson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Barrière, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bruno Metz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savanne's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Metz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymundo Pate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Metz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raymundo Pate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Savanne's Bruno Metz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
After 55 minutes, Rodolph Le mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rogers and the Savanne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rogers's Rodolph Le got a free kick in the 55th minute. Al Beaver got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Al Beaver hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Raymundo Pate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Metz in the 61st minute of the match. Bruno Metz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Pate having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Bruno Metz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rogers's Raymundo Pate tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd match minute, Savanne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Metz to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Percy Barrière got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Bruno Metz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rogers's Raymundo Pate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raymundo Pate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Metz in the 82nd minute of play forced Rogers's goalkeeper Raymundo Pate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Bruno Metz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savanne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Metz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Bruno Metz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymundo Pate. Rogers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Metz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Metz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymundo Pate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Orlando Gunn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymundo Pate. Rogers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Gunn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Savanne had played much better football throughout.
