With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Corbett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 17 minutes, Kirk Cottrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirk Cottrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Warman's Théophile Conroy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Corbett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanh McGraw got free with Marcellus Mothé in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Théophile Conroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Corbett having to interfere. Carlos Corbett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Théophile Conroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Warman's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tod Hutchins in the 64th minute. The corner led Warman's Tod Hutchins to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Corbett despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Lino Melvin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcellus Mothé skillfully saved the ball. Théophile Conroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Corbett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Cottrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Shaun Rich charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaun Rich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes GALATASARAY FC got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Rich. Everette Quintana's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Thanh McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcellus Mothé made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thanh McGraw in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Cottrell in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Corbett saved GALATASARAY FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Théophile Conroy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kirk Cottrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirk Cottrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Théophile Conroy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY FC's Earle Parnell got a free kick in the 94th minute. Théophile Conroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Corbett having to interfere.
