The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Hobbema:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Warman:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Warman. Tod Hutchins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Darrell DeGrasse. 0-1. Warman's Marcellus Mothé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Cooke in the 28th minute of play. Marcellus Mothé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Cooke in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Conrad Cooke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Mothé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hobbema's Darrell DeGrasse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Théophile Conroy in the 36th minute of play. Hobbema's Darrell DeGrasse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Hobbema from getting a goal against them.
