Johnathan Cope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Meredith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Garfield Sparks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delph's supporters rose to their feet, but Garfield Sparks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lincoln Fritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Delph was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garfield Sparks to maneuver through the defense. Young Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Meredith having to interfere. Bruno Meredith stood somewhat misplaced when Johnathan Cope came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 42 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnathan Cope to strike the kick off in the second half. If Johnathan Cope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garfield Sparks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Fritz having to interfere. Izydor Kaczucha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Meredith having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Delph's goalkeeper Bruno Meredith, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Johnathan Cope notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Delph's Bruno Meredith. Bruno Meredith was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Drew Ferris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Cope in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Lincoln Fritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garfield Sparks in the 82nd minute of play. Johnathan Cope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Meredith having to interfere. Johnathan Cope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Meredith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Young Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoleonas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Young Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Napoleonas's Johnathan Cope got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Meredith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Cope, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
