Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Théophile Conroy in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raoul Roberts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stacy McClelland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcellus Mothé read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Davis Herring hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vampires's goalkeeper Raoul Roberts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Théophile Conroy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Warman's Everette Quintana got a free kick in the 60th minute. Raoul Roberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théophile Conroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vampires's zone, Théophile Conroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raoul Roberts came out of the goal and Théophile Conroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kirk Cottrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raoul Roberts having to interfere. A hard shot 87 in the game by Kirk Cottrell from a close distance when the talented Raoul Roberts managed to make a qualified save. Vampires's players were relieved. When Everette Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Warman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everette Quintana couldn't finish the play. Kirk Cottrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raoul Roberts having to interfere. Warman played a much better game than Vampires and deserved their victory. The Vampires players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
