John Blanchard in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frédéric Desilets, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. King Echeverri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Mayo went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Hatcher in the 9th minute of play forced Kildonan's goalkeeper King Echeverri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Blanchard in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frédéric Desilets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frédéric Desilets made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Arron Alonzo sent off a good shot on target. King Echeverri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Hatcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kildonan booed when Amadjuak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Delmar Mayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kildonan's King Echeverri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Mayo in the 23rd minute of play. Amadjuak were furious when Booker Faust was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Kent Chu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Riley Morales in the 30th minute of play forced Kildonan's goalkeeper King Echeverri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game John Blanchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets got control of the ball when John Blanchard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Kildonan's Arnulfo Courtois made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédéric Desilets was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abe Duclos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Blanchard made a kick off. John Blanchard took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frédéric Desilets. Frédéric Desilets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. John Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Amadjuak's zone, Arnulfo Courtois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédéric Desilets came out of the goal and Arnulfo Courtois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frédéric Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Blanchard in the 63rd minute of play. Arnulfo Courtois kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rigoberto Beaver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Blanchard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédéric Desilets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, John Blanchard put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frédéric Desilets. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amadjuak's goalkeeper Frédéric Desilets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Blanchard in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frédéric Desilets saved Amadjuak from getting behind. John Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kildonan's zone, Freddie Hatcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. King Echeverri came out of the goal and Freddie Hatcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Riley Morales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but King Echeverri made a huge save. In the 86th minute John Blanchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédéric Desilets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Blanchard in the 88th minute of play forced Amadjuak's goalkeeper Frédéric Desilets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If John Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game John Blanchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kildonan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kent Chu in the 93rd minute. Frédéric Desilets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Blanchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Kildonan were the better team. Kildonan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
