Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Warman got a freekick which was hit by Gaspard Friedman. After a defensive mix-up in Warman's zone, Barton Aucoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcellus Mothé came out of the goal and Barton Aucoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Warman's Dorsey Bates got a free kick in the 5th minute. Kirk Cottrells short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Bruno Meredith to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Garfield Sparks came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Delph fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garfield Sparks couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Mike Moïse notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Warman's Marcellus Mothé. Marcellus Mothé was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Garfield Sparks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmie Purcell kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Warman fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Bruno Meredith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Théophile Conroy in the 35th minute of play. Bruno Meredith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kirk Cottrell in the 37th minute. In the 45th minute Mike Moïse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Mothé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Delph's Bruno Meredith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Théophile Conroy in the 54th minute of play. Ermenegilde Desjardins charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermenegilde Desjardins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 0-4 became the score in the 61st minute when Mike Moïse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Warman's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Moïse came free, but Marcellus Mothé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kirk Cottrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Théophile Conroy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Meredith. Delph's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Théophile Conroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Kirk Cottrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Meredith having to interfere. After some careless play in the Delph defense, Théophile Conroy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Meredith. The Delph fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Meredith should have stopped the shot. Bruno Meredith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Cottrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Delph! Tod Hutchins placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Mike Moïse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcellus Mothé showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Moïse in the 96th minute of the match.
