If Hung Casgrain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Wynn came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Westholm FC's Hung Casgrain. But to his dismay, Hung Casgrain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antwan Culver kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hung Casgrain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Wynn was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Rodolfo Howell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Malone in the 17th minute. A collision led to Portage getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nicodème Dejesus hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Westholm FC's Kim Gaillard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Wynn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 33rd match minute, Westholm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Rosario to maneuver through the defense. If Kim Gaillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, one of Portage:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Westholm FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iréné Norton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portage's Nelson Wynn. 1-3. After the first half Westholm FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bobbie Paul was the one to do the kick off. If Bobbie Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Hung Casgrain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nelson Wynn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 minutes of play, Portage's Jeffrey Malone made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Howell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bobbie Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Jeffrey Malone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bobbie Paul scored 4-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Howell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeffrey Malone struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rodolfo Howell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portage. Rodolfo Howell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbie Paul in the 99th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
