After a defensive mix-up in Tlell's zone, Tod Rodgers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Chabot came out of the goal and Tod Rodgers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tlell getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tuan Watson hit a great ball. Jean Croteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Chabot having to interfere. Tuan Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Numbers Creech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuan Watson was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by George McAllister. After 53 played minutes, Tlell's Seymour Hébert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Numbers Creech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tlell reached it. Liverpool's Ron Burke got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Tlell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Springer to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Jean Croteau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Tod Rodgers notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tlell's Norberto Chabot. Norberto Chabot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean Croteau struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Norberto Chabot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool. In the 90th minute, Ron Burke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Chabot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Liverpool players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
