Spectators: 7030 (Terracing: 6030, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mickey Picard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kurt Serrano took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Numbers Creech. Numbers Creech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Numbers Creech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickey Picard's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Pat Bouvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Serrano during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kurt Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jessie Rangel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Croteau in the 17th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Pat Bouvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pat Bouvier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jessie Rangel made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jean Croteau sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Trois-Rivières FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian McAllister to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Trois-Rivières FC's zone, Tod Rodgers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jessie Rangel came out of the goal and Tod Rodgers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Pritchard's late challenge caught a Trois-Rivières FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Pritchard helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Pritchard hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Liverpool's Alexandre Blue seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexandre Blue the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Liverpool protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexandre Blue had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Liverpool! Pat Bouvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pat Bouvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jessie Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jessie Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pat Bouvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Mickey Picard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trois-Rivières FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tod Rodgers to make the kick off. Tod Rodgers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Liverpool's Ron Burke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jessie Rangel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tod Rodgers came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tod Rodgers couldn't finish the play. If Mickey Picard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Numbers Creech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian McAllister in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Liverpool's Faustino Pritchard made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jessie Rangel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ron Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Pat Bouvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pat Bouvier came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat Bouvier couldn't finish the play. Liverpool's Pat Bouvier got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Pat Bouvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's Gerald Robert got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ron Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. Pat Bouvier struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jessie Rangel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool. Ron Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Trois-Rivières FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Liverpool side.
