Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maria Galvan got the match started through his kick off. When Aylesford AFC's Clint Gipson in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheldrake's goalie prevented a goal. Clint Gipson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eugene Stafford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonardo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clint Gipson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugene Stafford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clint Gipson ran back to his position shaking his head. Aylesford AFC's Marcel Trimble proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Aylesford AFC from getting a goal against them. Bruno Jewell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugene Stafford. Sheldrake's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clint Gipson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Sheldrake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugues Lind to maneuver through the defense. Eugene Stafford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Gipson in the 56th minute of play. If Clint Gipson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Trimble having to interfere. Rudolf Francoeurs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Eugene Stafford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sheldrake's Hugues Lind got a free kick in the 66th minute. Clint Gipson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. In the 94th minute, Jan Norris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maria Galvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sheldrake fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aylesford AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
