Charles Souplet's late challenge caught a Hedley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Souplet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hedley booed when Trois-Rivières FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Souplet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Moore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
