In the 10th minute Lambert McDermott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtis Capps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GALATASARAY SK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Barnabé Cruz hit a great ball. If Dave Rossignol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clyde Aponte got free with Norman Dumas in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Clyde Aponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Dumas made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Clyde Aponte sent off a good shot on target. Barnabé Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Dumas having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Waterloo Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Castillo. Jake Thorne, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Clyde Aponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Rossignol in the 52nd minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Kurtis Capps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Clyde Aponte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Clyde Aponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio ForestLaforest kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Jake Thorne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norman Dumas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Norman Dumas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clyde Aponte in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Clyde Aponte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clyde Aponte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dave Rossignol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtis Capps having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, GALATASARAY SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennith Nance to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Waterloo Warriors's zone, Barnabé Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norman Dumas came out of the goal and Barnabé Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norman Dumas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Aponte in the 85th minute of the match. Dave Rossignol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurtis Capps read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Kurtis Capps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Rossignol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, GALATASARAY SK's Kurtis Capps got control of the ball when Lambert McDermott tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Rossignol came free, but Kurtis Capps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GALATASARAY SK fully deserved thier win.
