Lambert McDermott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. Norman Dumas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Picard in the 52nd minute of play. Lambert McDermott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. Dave Rossignol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jessie Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lambert McDermott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Rangel having to interfere. Trois-Rivières FC's Jessie Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Rossignol in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trois-Rivières FC's zone, Lambert McDermott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jessie Rangel came out of the goal and Lambert McDermott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Rossignol might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jessie Rangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Rossignol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Lambert McDermott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jessie Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lambert McDermott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jessie Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Rossignol in the 96th minute of play.
