Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Sheldrake's Maria Galvan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugene Stafford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Gipson in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maria Galvan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Trimble saved Aylesford AFC from getting behind. Marcel Trimble didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugues Lind went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonardo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Trimble having to interfere. Marcel Trimble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maria Galvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Maria Galvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcel Trimble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugene Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clint Gipson in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aylesford AFC's Jan Norris got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes, Leonel Tackett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aylesford AFC and the Sheldrake players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Aylesford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Tackett. After 38 played minutes, Sheldrake's Andres Daigle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcel Trimble came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sheldrake reached it. Huey Kane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Trimble having to interfere. If Maria Galvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Aylesford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maria Galvan came free, but Marcel Trimble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Gipson in the 52nd minute of play forced Sheldrake's goalkeeper Eugene Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Clint Gipson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clint Gipson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Francoeur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maria Galvan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Trimble having to make a save. When Maria Galvan came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Sheldrake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maria Galvan couldn't finish the play. If Clint Gipson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Galvan in the 75th minute of play. Maria Galvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcel Trimble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackie Armstrong, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Jan Norris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
